So you’ve booked your ticket to Manchester, your accommodation and that perfect combination of hen activities for during the day– next you have to think “Where do I go for the perfect night out?” Well put simply the mecca for all hens visiting Manchester is The Birdcage nightclub opposite the popular Printworks complex in the city centre.
Well established as the premier hen party destination in Manchester the Birdcage will throw open its doors every Friday and Saturday night from 9p.m until late for an evening of Disco with hits from the 80’s, 90’s and now. Not enough? Okay how about throwing in every 40 minutes “David Dale and the Birdcage Starlets” - a Vegas style drag and showgirl cabaret performing amongst many other things tributes to great acts like Cher and Abba. Still not enough? How about a cheeky but lovable hostess whose sharp cut downs can have you and your friends in stitches? A state of the art sound and lighting system? Okay you get the picture.
The venue itself can hold up to 2000 people and trust us when we say on a Saturday it will do, so there are a few things to remember. Firstly drinks – if you are going to any one of the three bars get a couple of rounds in as the popularity of the venue will inevitably lead to queues. Either that or take advantage of the table service within the reserved seating but be aware it is not guaranteed and will stop shortly after 11pm. Secondly the atmosphere and disco will naturally mean that it’s noisy, so if you want to talk to one another all night this isn’t the place to go- it’s cabaret with disco not just cabaret. J
If you aren’t too much of a fan of large crowds then of the two nights arranging to go to the Birdcage on the Friday of your Manchester hen weekend is probably the more sensible option and can be easily arranged. We’ll organise your Birdcage tickets and set you up with guestlist access early evening to a venue in the popular Printworks so you can get a few pre Birdcage drinks in. Tickets on Friday tend to be cheaper as well at £8 for Q jump (which you must use before 11pm) and £12 for reserved seating (which must be used before 10pm). A VIP area is also available for larger groups.
If however you want to arrange a visit to the Manchester Birdcage on the Saturday night of your visit which the majority of hen parties in Manchester tend to try and do we will happily check availability and try and get you sorted. Prices are a little more expensive at £8 for Q jump (which you must use before 11pm) and £15 for reserved seating (which must be used before 10pm.) VIP is not available.
We are certainly fans and that is why we are offering it you as an activity in its own right or as part of your own uniquely built Manchester Hen party or shortly as part of a special package- keep checking the website for details. Tickets through us are at absolutely no extra cost at all as we have matched the Birdcage’s prices.
Send us your enquiry and we can start to help sort that perfect night in the Manchester Birdcage today.
