Be Pole Divas on Your Manchester Hen Weekend

I was invited recently by our dance partner to a competition organised by them called Pole Divas National Pole Fitness competition. Naturally I leapt at the opportunity to do something I wouldn’t normally do on a Sunday afternoon and head off into town to the venue Pure Manchester at the Printworks.

Normally known as Manchester’s only city centre superclub, Pure Manchester during the day was a somewhat strange experience for me as I usually only head to its entrance at 11pm rather merry if I am honest. Still with three massive dancefloors and a sound and lighting system to match the best out there I could totally see why it was chosen to hold the Manchester heat of a competition that I am reliably informed has been going for 5 years and has only been getting more and more popular.

Now I have to say if the competitiors were anything to go by in the Manchester heat the competition is in for its best year yet as I couldn’t believe what they could do with the pole and would have certainly put me to shame if I had tried. Check out this competitor from the advanced amateur category and prepare to be amazed!!!

Fay who is one of the two organisers of Pole Divas National Pole Fitness competition organises a variety of dance sessions for hens visiting Manchester on their Manchester Hen Party, Manchester Hen Night or Manchester Hen Weekend. Fay is the matriarch of Manchester dance and has been running dance lessons in Manchester for more than 6 years and is perfectly qualified to get you hens dancing like a professional whilst having tremendous fun into the bargain. We have already organised the following and are constantly striving for new dancing options to give to you.

Manchester pole parties

Manchester Cheerleading Parties

Manchester Burlesque Dancing Parties

Manchester Bollywood Dancing

Manchester Salsa Dancing

All the locations are in the city centre in either dance studios a la “Pineapple Dance Studios” or studios in fitness clubs and last two hours as standard as Stag and Hen Manchester find that the perfect length to learn some basic moves comfortably before performing a routine with your fellow hens. The focus is on fun and having a laugh whilst dipping your toes in something new. All teachers are professionally qualified dancers who have been specially chosen for your group.

We suggest a minimum of 8 hens although so long as you pay the minimum price you can come along with a smaller group and the larger the group the lower the price so we are very flexible when it comes to hen dancing in Manchester. We can split you into two groups if need be as well for groups above 16 if wanted and can even do one hour of one type of dancing and one hour of another – simply ask on booking.

So if you want to enter or follow the heats of the Pole Divas competition visit the website here and good luck to all involved and we look forward to hearing from you dance mad hens.

Regards

Mike

Stags at the Footy on a Manchester Stag Weekend - The Blue Half of Manchester Reviewed

Saturday September 11th saw me invited to the latest Premier League football match at the blue half of Manchester’s stadium Eastlands where Manchester City were to take on Blackburn Rovers. Having just recently released Manchester City as an option for the footie keen stags coming to Manchester for their Manchester Stag weekend I felt it necessary to pop along and make sure things were still up to scratch.

I think summing it up as normal off the pitch the club is well set up to accommodate footie mad stags looking to watch some football on a Manchester stag weekend but on the pitch unfortunately at the moment performances aren’t coming up to scratch. Entertaining nonetheless but the results certainly aren’t following despite the influx of playing talent like Balotelli, Milner, Yaya Toure, and David Silva to name but a few.

Stag and Hen Manchester would certainly encourage Manchester City as value for money alone on the performances of Carlos Tevez – Utter Class!

I ended up on the entry level food hospitality package that starts at £85+VAT which was called the Citizens Suite where you get a car park space if needed, programme, pre and post match entertainment with City Legend Gary Owen and guests, three course carvery meal, half time cakes and pay bar all afternoon. Seats for the ticket are East Stand Level 2 on the half way line which made for a fabulous view.

I enjoyed the meal barring a couple of questionable roast potatoes “me being picky really” and had a fat moment when i went for two pieces of the biggest most calorie inducing chocolate fudgecake I had seen in my life. Bar prices weren’t outrageous and 5 pints of lager, two pints of coke and a rum and coke came to £29.60. The seats for the game were spot on and bathed in sunshine and the only real disappointment was the 1-1 final result but you can’t have everything.

For those stags thinking of a visit check out Man City Football and give us a call with any questions as we can run through all the available options from the basic premier seat and programme package to the higher end hospitality packages as with different pricing for different category games and availability varying wildly on occasions it is best to talk to us about what you want and we will find the best option for you.

Not a blue but a red then don’t forget to visit Man Utd Footy aswell for the Manchester United, Manchester Stag Party ticket options.

Manchester Stag Party Good Times - September 2010

Paul and his stags from Cumbria were the latest group to hit the delights of Manchester on their Manchester Stag Party. In the planning since May with the organising duties split between the best man Rich and the main man himself the groom Paul they eventually settled on 1 nights 3* stag friendly accommodation, “Have a Go” Clay Pigeon Shooting package, two hour private poker session at one of Manchester’s finest casino’s, cocktail wristbands at Illusions Magic Bar and priority entrance tickets to Manchester’s only city centre superclub in the Printworks , Pure Manchester.

Taking each element at once Paul’s group arrived in Manchester via train and thanks to a swift tram ride and short walk to Castlefield in the city centre the group arrived early at the hotel at about 12.30pm. As with most of our bookings they were able to check in early but even if they couldn’t have done they would have been able to store luggage until they could. With twin rooms B&B and free access to the health club it was ideal for their needs. Then bang on 1.30pm our travel firm picked the group up for the short ride to their first activity in some woods out in West Manchester- Clay Pigeon Shooting.

Once at the Clay Pigeon Shooting club in west Manchester in picturesque woods the experienced staff including ex Olympic medallists greeted the group and hand out the necessary equipment before giving the essential safety briefing before it is out to the many traps to start the session. The entry level option for Clay Pigeon Shooting “Have a Go” gives each Stag in Manchester doing Clay Pigeon Shooting 25 shots with full instruction and you needn’t worry because even I with my glasses started to hit the targets a few shots in. With 11 guys the session lasts about 1.5-2hours and as with all our clay pigeon shooting bookings the included transport comes back to pick you back up to take you into the city centre again.

Once back in town a short walk away from the hotel found the lads at one of Manchester’s finest casinos where met by a host the group first of all signed in with their photo ID – (a must for all casino and poker packages) before a dealer,a private table, all the necessary equipment and a free drink all greeted them as they walked in. Paul and his mates decided to have a quick learn to play refresher course before they all kicked into a tournament with £5 per person prize money they had as standard and added another £5 per person on arrival. Paul ended up winning by all accounts and a kitty for the evenings drinks suddenly came into being.

To finish off the evening the lads headed to one of the main areas of nightlife in Manchester the Printworks. Within the Printworks is Manchester’s only city centre superclub Pure where three dancefloors, three bars, a variety of music with a sound and lighting system to rival any out there and Manchester’s finest women awaited them. By all accounts a good night was had or at least the bits they told me left me with that impression.

Like what you hear stags and want your Manchester Stag night, Manchester stag weekend, Manchester Stag Party, Manchester Stag do or even private party to do the same then let us know after all the boys paid only £130 per stag!!

Stag and Hen Manchester - Monthly Update

It has been a fair old while since we have last hit the blogosphere and we can make no excuses other than being hectic sorting out Manchester Stag and Hen parties galore both this year and next, appearing live on the radio telling people about how brilliant we are and attending the odd event or two! So sit back and enjoy as we update from the last four weeks!

So who has come for their Manchester Hen party since we last spoke – Louise and her hens that’s who!

Arriving on one of the busiest city centre weekends of the year Manchester Pride, Louise and her hens headed straight into the Northern Quarter for a day at a photostudio getting make up from a professional makeup artist before each getting a half hour photoshoot in 3 or 4 outfits before coming together for a group shot for the Bride to remember her Hen party by. Throw in lunch nibbles, a glass of bubbly and a professionally touched photo to take home each and you have the perfect hen activity for your Manchester Hen Party. Check out the hen activities and look for Hen Photoshoot for details.

Once done there it was a quick journey to the groups hotel which was only 4 miles out of the city centre as for weekends where United play at home or large events are occurring its better value for money to get hen friendly accommodation a little out of the city centre where the prices artificially inflate. Don’t worry hens though we have listed these dates on our website in our Hen Accommodation section and on other weekends you will be firmly in the city centre making the most of our lower hotel accommodation rates.

Once back in town it was straight to OPUS in the Printworks for a meal out and a Manchester Hen Comedy Evening before nightlife passes allowed them to drink and dance the night away. All for only £135 per Hen.

Bookings are flooding in for 2011 from all you organised hens and we have put a number of parties in our diary for next year already so if you are thinking it’s too early why not get in touch and start discussing plans with your fellow stags and hens. Remember its only 20% deposit now with the remainder coming 5 weeks prior to your party and you are guaranteed 2010 prices - a plus ahead of the VAT increase and any supplier increases that may come.

We are currently looking at providing you with some more pre paid food options to include on your bespoke stag and hen parties in Manchester so keep your eyes peeled and have a few interesting new activities in the offing as well. Murder Mystery anyone?

The 23rd August even saw Stag and Hen Manchester interviewed on Manchester's premier business show on BBC Radio Manchester talking about our bespoke stag and hen parties in Manchester and how great all you stags and hens are!!!

I celebrated my birthday in style with the team which left us with sore heads for days, visited Portsmouth to check out how stags and hens party down south (Manchester is still the only way to go!!) and have been invited to a few football games at the blue and red side of the city as the football season kicks off again. Stags remember with Man City Football and Man Utd Football you could be there too!

Then finally this past weekend saw us at Mulligans on Southgate down the road from Oxford Road Revolution which is heaving and full of partygoers every Saturday singing and dancing to the live band that is on. Well worth a visit if you are a fan of Irish pubs and we danced and drank the night away until the wee small hours but were a little too drunk to get some pictures to share with you. Sos!

We will be back a little more often now after our extended break so look out for more updates from Stag and Hen Manchester
